The Lakes offers different experiences throughout the year.

November through April: We are an adults-only resort for guests 21 and older, creating a peaceful winter retreat environment.

May through October: We welcome guests of all ages for our family-friendly season.

Yes! Many guests choose The Lakes as their winter home away from home. We offer extended stays so you can settle in, enjoy the community, and explore everything Southern Arizona has to offer.

Yes! We love welcoming well-behaved dogs and cats at RV sites.

Pets must remain leashed or secured at your site and may not be left unattended outside. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

Yes. Select casitas are dog-friendly and subject to availability.

Pet-friendly casitas allow up to two dogs and require a pet fee and refundable pet deposit.

No. Cats are welcome at RV sites, but our pet-friendly casitas are limited to dogs only.

We offer spacious full-hookup RV sites surrounded by mature trees, desert scenery, and our peaceful fishing lakes.

Options include lakeside sites, pull-through & back in sites, and extended-stay options.

Our lakeside RV sites offer 30 AMP, 50 AMP, and 110V outlets.

All other RV sites offer 50 AMP service only. Guests with 30 AMP RVs staying on non-lakeside sites will need a 50-to-30 AMP adapter.

Yes. RVs should generally be 10 years old or newer.

If your RV is older but well-maintained, exceptions may be considered by emailing current photos of all four sides of your RV for approval before arrival.

No. We are designed for self-contained RVs and do not allow tent camping, car camping, or non-self-contained camping units.

Yes. Our RV sites include full hookups with water, sewer, and electric service.

Yes! Our catch-and-release fishing lakes are available exclusively for registered resort guests.

Public fishing is not available.

No. Our lakes are for scenic enjoyment and catch-and-release fishing only. Swimming, boating, and wading are not permitted.
Dogs are not permitted to swim in the lakes.

Yes! Guests can enjoy our saltwater pool and relaxing hot tub.

Please note guests must be 21 or older to use the hot tub.

Yes! We offer high-speed fiber Wi-Fi throughout the resort.

Guests can enjoy our saltwater pool and hot tub, catch-and-release fishing lakes, clubhouse, activity spaces, laundry facilities, fitness area, dog park, walking areas, and more.

Wood fires are not permitted.

Propane fire pits and charcoal grills are allowed.

The Lakes is close to some of Southern Arizona’s best destinations including Tombstone, Bisbee, Kartchner Caverns, Chiricahua National Monument, the San Pedro Riparian Area, wineries, museums, and historic sites.
