This Cookie Policy uses words and phrases with specific definitions provided herein or on the Terms of Use referenced in this Website. Any references to “we” or “our” collectively refer to the owners of the Website and the Lakes at St. David RV Resort, including without limitation the Lakes at St. David, LP, St. David Management LLC, and their respective owners, partners, managers, employees, agents and representatives.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to make the site work, keep it secure, and understand how it’s used. Some are set by us; some are set by third-party services we rely on.

How we use cookies

Strictly necessary (always on)

These keep the site working and secure. The site can’t function properly without them, so they aren’t optional.

• WordPress — core session and preference cookies, and login cookies for staff who manage the site.
• Security — our login-protection tool (Limit Login Attempts Reloaded) may set cookies to guard against abusive login attempts.
• Performance/caching — our caching layer WP Super Cache may set cookies to serve pages faster.
• Consent — our consent tool (Complianz) stores your cookie choices so we can honor them and not ask again on every visit.

Analytics (helps us improve the site)

• Google Analytics (GA4) is loaded on our site and gated by our consent tool. When you accept analytics cookies, it sets cookies to measure visits and how people use the site, in aggregate. We use this to improve the site, not to identify you personally. Before you consent, Analytics runs in a limited, cookieless mode (Google Consent Mode) and does not store these cookies. Google’s handling of any data it does collect is governed by Google’s own privacy and cookie policies.

Third-party services & embeds

Some features load content from other companies, which may set their own cookies or collect data when you use them:

• Reservations Booking happens on a platform provided by our Booking Provider (see Terms of Use). When you proceed to book, you’re subject to our Booking Provider’s own cookie and privacy policies, not ours.
• Maps (Leaflet with MapTiler map tiles). Loading the Local Area and resort maps requests map imagery from a third-party tile provider.
• Fonts (Google Fonts). Page fonts are loaded from Google, which involves a request to Google’s servers.
• Video tours (YouTube). "Watch the video tour" buttons load an embedded YouTube player. When you start a video, YouTube may set its own cookies and its policies apply.

Managing cookies

Through our consent banner. The easiest way to manage non-essential cookies on this site is our consent tool. When you first visit, you can accept, decline, or choose which categories you allow — and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the "Manage cookie settings" link in the site footer.
