Our commitment

The Lakes at St. David RV Resort (“we” “our” and “us”) wants every guest to feel welcome. We are committed to being open and honest about the accessibility of both our website and our property so you can make an informed decision before you book. Our website

We are working to make this website usable for as many people as possible and aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a goal. We do not claim that the site is fully conformant, and we recognize some areas may fall short. We review the site periodically and welcome feedback that helps us improve.

Physical Property Accessibility Disclosures

The Lakes at St. David RV Resort is a rustic, natural environment. We want all guests to have a safe and comfortable stay. Please review the following descriptions of our physical layout below to determine if our facilities meet your individual mobility needs.

1. Casitas (Individual Lodgings)

  • General Inaccessibility: None of our Casitas are certified ADA-accessible.
  • Entry Barriers: All Casitas (except Casita’s 190, 194 & 195) require walking uphill and climbing 1 step to access the entryway.
  • Casita’s 190, 194 & 195: Offer drive-up, step-free ground-level entry with adjacent parking. However, the interior is not certified ADA-compliant; the bathroom doorways are narrow residential doorways, and the shower and toilet do not have grab bars or clearance space for a wheelchair.
  • Interior Obstacles: All Casita bathrooms feature standard, narrow residential doorways, standard height toilets, and standard shower stalls or tub/shower combinations without grab bars or transfer benches.

2. RV Sites

  • Surface Materials: Our RV sites are surfaced with packed, unpaved gravel and are generally level. They do not feature paved or concrete pads.
  • Utility Pedestals: Water, sewer, and electrical hookups are located at ground level and require bending or kneeling to access.
  • Clearance: While sites are wide enough to accommodate slide-outs, the surrounding terrain consists of natural dirt, gravel, and grass, which may be uneven.

3. Common Areas & Amenities

  • Clubhouse: Accessible via a step-free, double-door entryway. The interior layout is level.
  • Communal Restrooms & Showers: Our shared resort restrooms and showers do not meet ADA clearance guidelines and do not feature grab bars or roll-in shower configurations.
  • Swimming Pool: The pool deck is level and accessible, but the pool itself does not feature a mechanized ADA lift chair or ramp access. Entry is via standard pool steps with a handrail.
  • Resort Grounds: Pathways connecting the RV sites to the clubhouse and communal areas are unpaved gravel and dirt, which can become soft or uneven during wet weather.
