Join us on Monday, December 18th, from 10am to 12pm, for a moving and informative session titled “Changes”.
This special event, featuring Carole and Carolyn, is more than just a presentation – it’s a journey through resilience, adaptability, and personal growth in the face of life’s challenges.
👵 Carole’s Story:
At 80 years old, Carole faced a moment that changed her life forever. The sudden need to call 911 for her husband brought to light the importance of being prepared for emergencies, especially as we age. Carole’s experience led her to create a vital Emergency form, which she now shares with neighbors and retirement communities, aiming to help others navigate similar challenges with greater ease.
🤝 Carolyn’s Expertise:
Joining Carole is Carolyn, a licensed therapist with a practice in Benson, AZ (www.balancingwellnessbenson.com). With her professional background and personal experiences in caregiving and loss, Carolyn brings invaluable insights to this session.
💬 Presentation and Series:
“Changes” is not just a one-time event but the beginning of a series covering crucial topics like Caregiving, Grief, Dementia, Aging, Parkinson’s, Living Alone, and Necessary Paperwork. Based on interest, this series will offer support, understanding, and practical advice for those navigating the complexities of life’s later stages.
🎨 Inspired by Andy Warhol’s quote, “They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself,” this series aims to empower and equip you to face life’s changes with knowledge and confidence.
Whether you’re facing these issues personally, know someone who is, or simply wish to be better prepared for the future, join Carole and Carolyn for this essential discussion.
