When we first stumbled over this place, we were camping somewhere else. Upon our departure from that campground we cancelled our future sites and settled in here for several weeks. We met some wonderful people at The Lakes of St David. All the people who were also working at the campground were very welcoming and helpful. We’d never stayed this long at one particular spot so it was awesome to find somewhere that had such great amenities and activities as well. The surrounding areas of Benson, Tombstone, Bisbee and Sierra Vista offer so much to do aside from what’s offered at The Lakes. Live Concerts, Game Noghts, Farmers Markets are just a few of the events that were going on while we were there. There’s a lovely pool and hot tub and fishing if you enjoy that. We happened to have a keyboard with us so in three occasions we had music at our campsite and others brought out their own instruments to play along. The laundry facilities were the best I’ve come across anywhere. If we could have stayed long we would have but it’s top of our list when it comes to places we’d want to visit again.
